1 month after associate asked me to apply, no updates
6 weeks ago I met with an associate at a decent EB. Had coffee with him and it was overall a pleasant meeting. The EB was hiring for off-cycle intake for ECM so I was interested. Towards the end he said I should send my CV/CL and he'd refer me internally. One week later, a director at the bank sent me an email saying he's looking at my CV and that I'm considered etc. I followed up with the associate to thank him and all that. Now after 1 month I haven't heard back from the bank. Should I just move on and forget?
What's making me lose hope is that the associate said that their ECM team wanted to secure roles fast (FT & interns).
