Yes you can. BoA gets a bad rep because of its commercial side, but the ML side is still a quality investment bank and they do see solid deal flow. Yes some people left after the acquisition, but there are still lots of old ML people left at the firm.
Actually, the commercial bank is a strong business at BAML. The problems at BAML stems from its consumer mortgag business (ie; the Country wide acquistion).
