1 week late to blackrock EMEA spring week

P much same as title incoming freshman it completely missed my mind despite being on track with all the spring weeks since they usually open in aug-sept but i applied a week later and although it says it’s not rolling im still abit worried on if im late or not.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, if the application process for BlackRock's EMEA Spring Week is explicitly stated as not rolling, then your late submission might still be considered, as applications are typically reviewed after the deadline. However, being late could still put you at a disadvantage if the firm has already started reviewing applications or if they prioritize earlier submissions unofficially.

To improve your chances: 1. Follow up proactively: Reach out to the recruitment team to confirm if your application will still be reviewed. 2. Network: Leverage any connections you have at BlackRock or within the industry to express your interest and commitment. 3. Prepare for next steps: If your application is accepted, ensure you're ready for interviews or assessments.

While there's no guarantee, taking these steps can help mitigate the impact of a late submission.
