Yea that’s interesting. Assume a couple of breakout deals were responsible for the majority of that (like Spirit, Marelli, First Brands)

The biggest loser from this list is PJT M&A. RSSG doing $100mm from in-court debtor mandates means they did $200mm+ after including creditor mandates and OOC sponsor debtor mandates which are their bread-and-butter. $400mm run-rate annual revenue from a group with roughly a dozen partners is being contributed to the $1.3bn PJT advisory business. What the hell are the other 120-odd partners doing in M&A to only bring in $900mm?
Well, based on the octus article, the value-add of PJT's creditor side work was so small that it's essentially de minimis. That 113m is about all there is.
