1st month in IB?
What was your first month in IB like? I have no idea wtf im doing and things are generally going pretty slow on most days.. feel a little guilty as I see senior analyst and associates always online and seemingly busy
Don't worry about it. As long as you are in a not-so-bad bank, you will get busy later. I wasn't staffed on any live deal until 8 months into the job. Actually there were two, but those two were late stage and neither of them closed.

Soon youll be staffed on a busy deal and wish you were here... hehe. Also difference in bonus between good and bad employees is barely anything so might as well just chill anyway.
