West Coast rainmaker:
I have never understood the methodology here...HLHZ as #4? I know their restructuring is good...but really? Are they as a firm above MS, Centerview and the elite boutitques?
If you have ever spoken with anyone at HLHZ before, they have a very, very loyal culture, so I'm sure the satisfaction ratings or what not were pretty high. Also, depending on how you weight compensation, many boutiques are performing better against the BB's.

As with all rankings, ofc these too should be taken with a grain of salt...from what I've heard there are a lot of political shenanigans in the background of this one.

These are absurd (and based on surveying 3,500 people...possibly from the Olive Garden in Times Square).

Gleacher at 16...I guess it's great to work somewhere that is desperately trying to find a buyer. If that's a metric for quality of life, I assume Lehman come in at #1 this time in 2008?

That was the only bank I had never even heard of.
