2021 Summer Analyst Positions Still Hiring?

So I'm a Junior at a semi target school in CA and recently decided to pursue IB. I realize that I'm way too late for the vast majority of Summer Analyst positions, but does anyone know of any firms still recruiting? And if I can't get an IB position for this summer, would a valuation internship or corporate finance internship this summer help with full time recruiting next fall? Any advice would be helpful.

In terms of IB positions, your best bet might be smaller boutiques – I would look locally/within your region. As an example, I got my sophomore SA position at a small boutique just outside my town in February.

If you're looking to participate in FT recruiting, I would make it a priority to get  any *IB experience.* Having a valuation/audit/corp fin internship (and thus lacking direct IB experience) would make it really hard on your FT chances.
