2023 Associate Bonus - what are people’s thoughts?
With bonus season 3-4 months away, what are people expecting for IB Associate bonus.
My guess is something like:
As1: 75-140k As2 100-175k As3:125-225k
Too high?

Career Resources
People are probably not going to want to hear this but I'd calibrate around flat to last year. The difference is there will be a lot more volatility with the banks that are in trouble / merged / restructuring which is basically the bottom 2/3rds of the bulges.
So basically what OP wrote is what you think?
The OPs numbers look high to me. Many mid-bucket first year associates had bonuses sub 100k

TC
As1 350-400
As2 475-525
As3 600+
where?
Unless you're at CVP or Q these numbers are way too high. Would anticipate EB numbers looking more like the following:
Aso1: 300-350
Aso2: 400-450
Aso3: 450-500
What’s the market rate at most places?
Agree - would be content if I got within these ranges.
Relatively flat for top performers and a material drop for the rest.
It’s not going to be pretty. Why would it?
