2025 IB SA Recruiting Advice

Hi monkeys,

I’m a junior studying finance and econ at a super target school (ivy) with 3.7+ GPA and a credit ratings internship (at S&P/Moody’s) lined up for my junior summer. I am seeking advice on whether I should delay my graduation from May 2025 to December 2025 to get into the SA recruitment cycle. I have already prepped for the technicals and don’t need to start from zero. If I can get an IB internship, I can take leave of absence from my school and don’t need pay extra tuition. And if I am unsuccessful, I can graduate on time (May 2025) and look for full-time roles. But I was wondering if I will be able to apply for 2025 SA positions and FT roles in the same year. Will the recruiters care to look at my previous applications and deny me to apply for FT roles (assuming I don’t 2025 SA internship)?

I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice on this matter. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!
