2026 SA IB RO Rates
Feel like this is a useful data point for those recruiting at the moment and WSO doesn’t do a great job of aggregating what has already been posted. Feel free to comment below the RO% at your bank including geography and group (if relevant).
None of this matters btw
It matters to me. I am a shallow monkey and I accept it
Honestly, idk how truthful these threads are. What’s the incentive for someone to honestly share a low RO rate at their bank?
If there was a bank that notoriously agave low return offers, then candidates would prefer other banks instead, and as a result their own bank would get worse incoming analysts and their life would be worse. At the end of the day, they got the RO, so they’re not gonna care so much whether the rate was low or high.
On the flip side, those that didn’t get an offer may try to claim that the RO rate was lower than it actually was to make themselves feel better and/or bad mouth the firm that left them hanging.
All in all, who’s to know what the precise objective truth is based on anonymous forums? And unfortunately, there’s no database that keeps track of this every year across Wall Street, because it’s not like HR departments are leaning this information. If you have any luck getting this data and knowing for certain, let me know
