2+2 Application Review

I was planning on applying for a deferred mba program in the spring and wanted to get advice on what I can do to round out my application before the time comes for applying.

Stats: Top public (UCB/UCLA/Michigan), 4.0 STEM, 750 GMAT, couple of vp level leadership positions in finance club and volunteer clubs, mentorship position within university major related program, freshman summer BO, sophomore ib at lower bb, and junior ib at lower eb, non diversity male.

Aiming for S/H/W for deferred round so that I have something nice on resume for on cycle since I’m not FT’ing at a group with crazy exits. Open to taking all advice and feedback on how to make my application pop and if an in semester vc/pe role or going for stronger leadership positions would help. :)

I went through the process and got admitted to H/S/W. Happy to share my story in private message, so feel free to reach out!

Overall, I would say you have a solid resume/academic background. They will definitely take a serious look at your application. But I would say essay is equally important. There are so many people with similar background that are applying. So I would say you should make sure your essay stands out! Hope this helps!
