23 and want to know my best way in

I've spent the past year post-grad working at a BB private bank. I was initially bummed that I wouldn't be working in deal making in some capacity, and honestly, I've had a great time. But the job of a private banker isn't one I see myself doing long term. I loved being part of a team, but I definitely still want to pivot.

Are the 2027 full-time recruiting posts valid for me to apply to, or are those almost strictly for people who are heading into their senior year? Would it be easier to come in off-cycle? I'd genuinely work at any investment bank. At the end of the day, it's the experience I'm looking for.

Background: liberal arts non-target with good street rep, 3.6 GPA (lower because I had my offer lined up early, so I might've started to slack). I'm prepping for interviews in case I land one of the full-time interviews, but what does my next step realistically look like? I'd appreciate honest advice. One path I'm weighing is staying at the BB private bank, getting my MBA, and recruiting for a summer associate position. But I'd love to get there now if there's a way, and I'd appreciate any insight.
