Acceptance AND Rejection letter from Deutsche bank??

Hey everyone,

Just a couple days ago, I took the numerical reasoning test for Deutsche Bank. Yesterday i received the successful applicant email saying I progressed to the next stage. This morning I received an email stating i was rejected. Has this happened to anyone else? I am trying to figure out what happened (Is one a mistake, Did the run out of spots, etc.)

FYI: I called the graduate recruitment center and the person I spoke with clarified twice that the successful applicant email I had received was not an automated email.

I heard that they look at your resume in person after you pass the tests (not automated screen) so it may be that your resume didn't make the cut. Sorry man.

Hey russianmule It was for the corporate finance graduate programme in London. Would have been awesome, but yeah oh well not meant to be. And yeah FellowTraveler more than frustrating. What sucked the most was my campus rep for DB was telling me "well they have been having some trouble the past year or two with this. One may be in mistake. I called the next day and the HR dept said exactly as TKaaddian said. They look at the resume's after the test. Im just curious whether it was Visa requirements that knocked me out or what.
