If a company acquires 20% of another company - how does this affect EV / EBITDA multiple of the acquirer?
I tend to think it shouldn't move EV / EBITDA multiple, as EBITDA stays unchanged and EV shouldn't change as this is not affecting value of the operating assets.
Does that make sense - if not, could you please let me know how to think about this?
