Adderall

Touched base with an individual at a bank I'll be starting at fulltime on the east coast. He mentioned that its insanely busy, and he casually mentioned that most of the analysts and associates are taking a lot of adderal to get by with the minimal sleep, long hours, and general lack of motivation in the WFH era.

Curious if this is just at this particular bank, or if any other of you have heard similar. I have no problem with adderall, just feel like cranking on it non stop wrecks my mood (i.e. how I felt like shit after the end of finals when I ate them things like skittles)

Don’t do it man. Recently had a seizure and felt I was going to die after taking 15mg instant release. I don’t have ADHD and was abusing it to get ahead at school and at my current analyst role. Yeah the feeling is amazing and it makes you get shit done but once you’re off it, you won’t sleep for jack shit, you’ll be depressed af, and you won’t feel motivated since you now rely on a drug to get shit done. Seriously, don’t even experiment with it.
