Adjusting to FT Analyst lifestyle after interning?

As an intern, it is a lot easier to put up with the high hours given that everything is "fresh" and you see a light at the end of the tunnel when you internship is over in 10/12/14 weeks etc.

How have you adjusted to the changed lifestyle as a FT Analyst once you are doing this day-in day-out for what could be years straight instead of a 10 week period? What is the beginning / first few months like? What kind of mentality have you had to adapt?

As an intern I really enjoyed the work and responsibilities but honestly am a little worried about the sustainability of it as an incoming FT analyst.

IMO it might be harder to put up with the lifestyle when you don't have a "light at the end of the tunnel". Thoughts?

What most new analysts seem to do when starting out, is party all weekend to make up for the fact they have no spare time and sleep during the week. Try to avoid the trap of partying/drinking Friday through Sunday, as this (plus lack of sleep it usually involves) can really mess up your health and makes you feel even shittier during the week.
