I am about to start the recruiting process for an internship in investment banking. I really like M&A and ECM. Can anyone give any perspective on pay, work-life balance, exit opps etc. for ECM? I know a lot about M&A career path, pay etc, but wanted to see what WSO knew about ECM. I have heard there is a bad sentiment around ECM bankers from M&A group... Thanks
