Advice needed - IBD intern overseas

Hi guys,

I’ve received an offer from a BB internship with their Asia office (eg HK/Singapore). What are the chances that I can somehow receive a return offer for their London office, and how should I go about this? If the same bank is unlikely, would my internship experience in Singapore help me land a full-time position offer with other banks in the U.K.?

Ps - I don’t require a work visa to work in the U.K.

Thanks for your help!

Its not normal to get those deals, usually in Europe you could try to get an offer at a less desired office (lets say I get an offer at London and I want to move back to Paris), but not the other way round, and when it happens, banks usually ask for another round of interviews or you get directly elected for an AC.

Probably it will not help for FT recruiting at another bank, but it will be useful for OC/SA if you happen to move to another bank
