Advice on EB Recruiting as a Semi-International Student
For context, I’m an Indian citizen who has lived in the U.S. since 2010 and am currently a sophomore in college. My parents are currently on H-1B visas, which technically makes me an international student. I know that many EBs don’t sponsor work visas for interns or full-time employees, but I believe my situation is a little different.
My family and I are on track to receive our green cards within the next year, so I wouldn’t need visa sponsorship. However, I’ve heard mixed things about how banks approach candidates in my situation, especially since I would probably not have received my green card in time if I'm fortunate enough to sign in the next 6 months.
I was wondering if anyone has any insight into how EBs typically handle this, as I’m very interested in applying to several of them.
