Advice on navigating summer recruitment events while earning a return offer

Hi guys,

I am an incoming summer IBD analyst at a known sweatshop. I think it is critical to earn a return offer to be competitive for fulltime recruitment opportunities , but there will likely be dinners, receptions, and other networking events that buyside shops will be hosting this summer. How can I best navigate between getting a fulltime return while also making sure im on the radar of buyside shops this summer?
