Advice on San Francisco IBD recruiting

Hey all,

I just finished my IB SA stint with a MM bank in Chicago, Industrials coverage.

For full-time I would really like to be in San Francisco. I would prefer tech, but would not mind HC or CR. From my knowledge, these are the main groups in SF, if anyone has more color on this that would be great.

I was hoping that any of you tech bankers out there could provide me with a brief checklist of what you feel are important questions you would ask someone that is trying switching into the sector. I have been reading a lot on tech, but since it's a very broad industry I was hoping to use this "checklist" to narrow my focus and avoid studying things that won't help me during interviews.

So fellas, I would appreciate any advice on recruiting in SF. A list of tech focused interview questions would be great as well.

Thank you all.
