Advice sought

Will I banks even consider you for a summer internship or an analyst position if you have:

  1. graduated college 2004
  2. went to law school for one year and withdrew for lack of desire to practice law
  3. have 1 year experience working in the investment consulting industry as an analyst?

Thanks.

Honestly, probably not. Nontraditionals don't stand much of a chance. I squeaked by (I graduated at 25) by doing my futzing around before college, not after. I once made a very strong argument for a guy who'd gone for an engineering master's program (VERY tough stuff), but they still nixed him, saying he was too old.
