Advice - South African IB
Hi everyone, this may be out of scope for most people on this platform. I’m trying to ascertain whether there is a South African presence on this app. I am starting my job in IB mid Jan as an M&A analyst at one of the big banks in South Africa. I understand that the IB scene is South Africa is likely less hectic than London/New York but was hoping to get some advice going into this role from seasoned investment bankers in a South African context. Thanks !

Do your time in SA, then come over to London / NY. The water is much warmer here! But well done on Standard Bank, ABSA, RMB! All good shops that should give you a good platform
