Advice - Transition from buy side RE role to generalist IB

I currently work at a large REPE fund in acquisitions and I’m getting great deal reps and have been given plenty of responsibilities early on. However, I’m worried I’m pigeon-holing myself and would regret forgoing the IB experience and consequently the large array of exits. Any advice for someone looking to transition from an established buy side role (real estate albeit)? How do you frame this best to recruiters? What skills do you leverage?

Thanks
