After 6 years hustling for an IBD job in London, I want to quit after 2 months

Dear readers,
After struggling for more than 6 years to end up in London at a hellish BB (or ex BB...) , I wonder how I can save myself from this hell without returning back to poverty.
My team are a bunch of psychopaths lunatics with no regards to humanity.
I cannot change teams internally and I am already trying to find another job after 2 months.
I wanted to ask you what should I do while I stay with that lunatic team?
The level of cruelty is not even possible to imagine...

Been there before. I struggled to get something for several years and when I got it, it wasn't in line with expectations so I was feeling miserable.

My advice is to hold-on, try to keep yourself sane by doing sports and keeping contacts with your friends/family, you should hang-on for at least 6 months and then try to understand if your misery is related to your colleagues/work environment or to the IBD work in general. In either case, IBD will offer you other options so don't discourage yourself.

Thanks for the advice. I am convinced its about the toxic lunatics I work with. I wake up everyday in a minefield. Working 100h is possible in a good environment but not in a Gulag.

Read the threads here are rationalizing 2 years. Not telling you how to live your life or anything, but food for thought. If you worked hard for 6 years to get BB IB. Why throw it all away? I have friends who worked at cmplete sweatshops (e.g. 90-100+ hours on end) and they got good exit opps after.

You gotta ask if it's worth it, but hard to say when you're swimming in shit.
