Already have SA offer but curious what percent of applicants...
Already have SA offer but curious what percent of applicants wind up getting IBD offers for BBs (as in, what percent of applicants to a specific BB, on average, receive offers). Tried searching a few different phrases and didn't see anything; I remember seeing at one point a breakdown of about what percent are taken at each step (first round, superday, offer), but I can't remember what it was and couldn't find it again.
Just curious.
Getting into any individual BB is very tough but you have to calculate the chances of getting into no bulge bracket and subtract 1 from that to figure out who got at least one offer. Congrats btw
It's really silly to look at it on a percentage basis. So many kids at target schools resume drop without ever even having a shot. The real question is what percentage of QUALIFIED candidates get an interview, offer, etc. Not going to get an answer, but keep in mind when people throw out crazy numbers like "OMG ONLY 1% OF PEOPLE GET HIRED OUT OF ALL RESUMES DROPPED!!!" that ~90% of those kids never stood a chance and shouldn't even be in consideration.
