Am I screwed going into energy corporate banking now?
I got an offer from BMO Capital Markets as a corporate banking analyst in their Houston office. Should I expect layoffs / lower return offer rates given the economy and oil prices affecting their Houston office?
Or are energy corporate banks not as affected by oil prices / the economy since they're giving loans and now more companies will need them?
