Am I stupid for choosing internship over full-time?

Currently doing a summer internship at a low-tier BB IB shop, previously I also had a full-time offer to start at a MM shop (think Raymond James / Stifel)

But since the MM shop wanted me to start in July and wasn’t open for a pushback. I reneged the FT offer for my SA offer

Looking back, was this the correct decision? If I don’t get a return, I would be so done for, as I have already graduated

what happens if ur bb bg checks you FT and see you graduated before starting internship?

All my opinion here, but bird in the hand > bird in the bush. You had guaranteed income and threw it away for a maybe.

Low-tier BB SA with no return offer = you're unemployed and burned a bridge at the MM.

Hope your summer goes perfectly because you need that return offer. Why did you need a pushback on July?
