Am I too old?
- Work in tech, never finished college, successful career, great pay, can probably work at my large firm forever, hate it. I can take about 4 semester’s worth of classes and finish a degree in finance. I invest, own rentals, and can retire comfortably in 3 years. I find myself reading everything on markets, accounting, and financial news.
What is a reasonable career path I could take at my age to pursue genuine passion? What stories of decrepit old men my age have you heard of entering finance? Also, nothing boring.
Work the next 3 years, then you’re fully funded, and anything you do after that is for passion with little/less regard for the income it generates.
