Am I unlucky or an idiot
My email response rate coming from my alumni is just terrible. It's like 5% and I use the same templates that have been passed down through the organizations I am in that worked great for my predecessors. These people just don't respond. Is it even worth my time cold emailing random people from the very top firms (GS, MS)? Do they respond to people with no connection. (Context: top 10 target school but total nerd school)
I’d say 5% is actually on the higher end for cold reach outs
