A&M or BCG or LEK better for IB

Got offers for all three, and the plan is to spend around a year or two there and move to IB. Which offer would be more respected by people in IB? Broad question I know, happy to clarify. Just looking for some insight

I wouldn't have posted if that was an option lol. Couldn't break in (wether that's due to my own incompetence or bad luck idk but here we are). This is what I've ended up with and am looking to make the best of the situation

It's PEPI at A&M, and they promised to introduce me to some folks at NACR. Do you know what the chances are of making the move from pepi to RX group, or is it bad enough that BCG is still better?

No PEPI is a fantastic group at A&M. I’d definitely give it some thought. To be honest, my subjective opinion is that the experience at A&M will be just as beneficial for a career in IB as the BCG role, but, given high finance (including IB/PE/HF/PC) is extremely concerned with precedent/historical prestige, BCG is the better move here, objectively. Again, I would think about where you liked the culture more, and search through linkedin seeing which groups had better IB/buyside exits, but at the end of the day, MBB is MBB.

Yea that all checks out. Tbh BCG had a great culture, but it obviously felt more corporate, but A&M was definitely more friendly and natural. But in the long run I don't plan on staying at either so...
