Americas Cup worked with CVP???

What’s up Monkeys,

I’m not sure how many of you are sailors or follow/ even remotely care about the Americas cup but as a lifelong competitive sailor I get fired up about this stuff.

But if you are and haven’t seen the news this morning, they announced a new framework this morning for future competitions. The surprise for me came at the end of the article: “Acknowledgement is given to the advisors who have worked tirelessly to bring this complex arrangement together, including Centerview Partners (exclusive financial advisors to Emirates Team New Zealand) Hogan Lovells, Millbank, Becker Kemp and Simpson Grierson (all lawyers for Athena Racing) and Sidley Austin, Harmos Horton Lusk and Bell Gully (all lawyers for Emirates Team New Zealand).”

Did Centerview just get a damn tombstone for this??? Would love to know if any of you guys worked on this and what that process was like. Please comment below if so or PM, I’d love to connect and discuss it.

Linking the article here incase any of y’all are interested. https://www.americascup.com/news/3850_HISTORIC-MOMENT-IN-GLOBAL-SAILING-AS-NEW-AMERICAS-CUP-PARTNERSHIP-AGREEMENT-IS-REACHED
