Analyst Recruitment after Graduation

I’ve look through this board a lot and appreciate all the advice on here.

I went through full-time on-campus recruiting last fall at a semi-target, made it to some IB final rounds and think I was close to making it all the way but didn’t end up getting a full-time investment banking offer. I took an FP&A type position with a Fortune 100 company.

So if I still want to do IB... Could I stay in my current position for a year or so then reach out to my recruiting contacts and tell them – look, I’m the same candidate, except now I have a year of FT finance experience, and I know for sure I really want to do IB, etc… and get into an analyst program? Has anyone done this or know anyone who has done this? Any advice on how I might approach it?

I realize I’d have to start out as a first-year and I’d be fine with that.

Thanks guys.

Wow, C'mon guys. Lets show a little civility. Everyone has a 12 inch cock on the internet.

Getting into banking once you are done with school is do-able, just tricky. I would network hard core and look at boutiques and middle market firms. Don't get discouraged.
