A few select highlights in the last two weeks:

  • Asking me to incorporate comments approximately 1min after the MDs email lands in my inbox, what a true value add
  • An entire deck with minor text comments with ground-breaking value add such as revising "96 countries" to "95+ countries" while not bothering to review valuation assumptions
  • Too scared to tell the MD certain data or metrics doesn't exist so it falls upon the Associate to explain basic financials
  • Promising deliverables to seniors without checking if the junior team has the capacity to process in that time frame (on non-urgent tasks)
  • Asking the junior team to deliver latest iteration by EoD and then not bothering to provide comments until 4pm the next day
  • Pushing for weekend work on a minor pitch comments for a Wed meeting that is so ridiculous that even the MD told the VP to stand down
  • Labelling a useless pitch as a potential "high stakes live" deal to try and get me to prioritize their work (I wasn't born yday and the chance of this pitch becoming a live deal is 1% at the most optimistic)

She calls me a f@gg0t whenever I tell her it makes me feel bad when she says the R word. Should I go to HR?
