Any advice for a rising sophomore?

Hey Monkeys,

I'm currently a rising sophomore at a target, and I was wondering what I can do this summer to be in a good position for recruiting for 2021 internships. I have an internship lined up this summer at a MM PE firm, so I hope to learn a lot and maybe get a little bit of deal experience (improbable due to COVID-19). I'm not diversity, but I know a lot of sophomore programs are mainly targeted for diverse applicants. Is my best shot just to get into Ibanking just networking at smaller firms and going for BB after my junior summer? Does anyone have any tips on what I should be doing at this stage of the year as someone with an engineering background interested in the financial industry?

Thank you so much in advance!
