Any analysts studying for CFA level 2?

Anyone else taking it? How do you find the time? how many topics did you finish? Please share your best strategy, and let me know if anyone wants a study friend to keep each other accountable. Did anyone take it? is it doable? please give me some hope? People at work really discouraged me

one person said to me that “ I haven’t been swamped with work yet, so they’re not sure how that’s gonna go”. plus I have to go to class weekly but I do it and go back to the office. I work even harder now to prove nothing changed. I cant study in the office until the last associate leaves

Did Lvl 2 while working in Lev Fin last year - few things:

  • Start early. Like now.
  • Get used to the way they ask questions. It's not to trick you, but you need to comprehend the passage fully
  • Squeeze in time during the workweek - not impossible. every 15-30 mins matters. Weekends are a goner.
  • Practice makes perfect - Practice EOC questions in the CFAI text. Do the CFAI Q bank (quite hard) etc.
  • Books: I'd prefer CFAI over Schweser, but either of those two could work (although found CFAI EOC questions much more helpful for the exam)

Reddit has a CFA forum btw
