I gave them consent to access the information on my file so via my transcript they were able to figure it out is my guess. I was not intending on hiding it from them so that was never a concern of mine -- I am just curious if anything is still out there in IB for SA

In response to your question: yes, some MMs and non-elite boutiques are still recruiting. If you were able to get an offer from an elite boutique, you should be able to hustle your way into IBD this summer. That being said, you're going to have to hustle hard.
Furthermore, the timeline for recruiting depends on a myriad of factors and varies from firm to firm. I remember having an SA superday for a mid-tier BB in early March (similar to the timing at the moment). Many on this board may tell you that it's completely over (as the standard recruiting process for SA positions is most likely finished or is wrapping up). However, I've seen this "rule" broken more than a few times now, and really believe that it's not over till it's over.
You have 2-3 months left before the summer. NOW GO!
