Just left Dallas after 4yr, absolutely do uptown
why did you leave? Do you see it as a good spot for a young person long term or better to go the bigger cities like NYC? I’m also considering a move

Uptown, West Village, Knox/Henderson, Lower Greenville, Oak Lawn are probably the top areas. Design District and Victory Park are also solid options. Avoid Downtown.
Uptown is by far the place to be. You’ll be miserable anywhere else especially if you’re not from here.
