Any good books covering valuation?

Hey guys,

So I recently became involved in a tutoring activity that requires a lot of traveling on public transportation. I figure that this is probably the best time to squeeze in some reading on corporate valuation or modeling.

I have the McK book which is fairly basic so I'm looking for something else. Could include stuff on LBO or distressed debt models; preferably it would cover a few case studies or include a breakdown of several real transactions. Not sure yet about my group interests this summer so I'm trying to bone up on as much material as possible.

Thanks again, -S

I read the book as well, thought it was pretty damn good. I had no real experience modeling LBO's before, but had experience doing the Transaction comps, Trading comps, and a bit of DCF, and all of that stuff i thought was outlined pretty well, so I can only assume the LBO stuff was legit too. I probably learned the most from actually digging through 25 tab LBO beatdown models, but reading this helped solidify what i had suspected, overall I think it was well worth the time/money. They do provide some models which i would say are somewhere in between true "full blown investment bank" and "quick and dirty", which in all honestly is probably better for learning than doing what i did and being inundated with a 25 tab beast. Learn the basics, then ask a buddy for a model and get to work.

you have PDF of that book? haha sht woulda been useful 2 years ago :D
