Any intel on Castle Placement?
Was browsing through a list of boutique banks when I came across this bank. Founders and MDs all came from respected banks. I am curious about their deal flow. Anyone care to share some insights? Thank you all!
They are offering an unpaid internship and I am wondering if that is legitimate or not.

After looking at their website, I would try to stay away from any internships with them. If you can't afford to pay your interns, deal flow should be self-explanatory.

interned there before comments on glassdoor are pretty accurate. Solid for learning more about investment banking and everyone is super nice.
General rule of thumb, unpaid internships in finance are scams. Media internships are able to get away with it, but any legitimate finance internship should be at least minimum wage

Generally a good rule of thumb, but doesn’t always apply. For example, if you intern for a search fund looking for a first acquisition, that is most likely going to be unpaid. You’ll learn a lot and build up sweat equity that might come in handy later on. Also, unpaid internships will not ask much of you, as they are legally limited to what they can ask you to do.
