Any of you actually using AI for deck building/workflows or is it still analyst sweat?

Genuinely curious: are any of you in IB/PE actually using AI/tools to crank out pitch decks, automate slide formatting, build frameworks, or streamline the usual grind?

Not just ChatGPT for quick comps or copy ...I mean real stuff like deck structure, visual polish, research dumps, and process automation. Anything that's actually saving time or sanity?

Also are your firms cool with it? Or is it still lowkey rogue ops behind the scenes while MDs pretend it’s 2007?

Trying to figure out what’s legit being used vs what’s just LinkedIn talk. Lmk if any of you found actual edge here or it’s all still blood, sweat, and slide masters.

My shop greatly limits AI use due to concerns over data privacy. Likely the same in a lot of places unless it is a specific application to perform some basic tasks.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.
