IMO would be a good place to make money if you don’t consider exit and so-called “prestige”.
Lack of threads here should tell you what you need. Small cap deals, regional boutique no matter how they market themselves with their various European offices. They would never compete in the MM space, lol.
Guy above clearly have 0 insight on comp, which is very, very low. We are talking ~30% bonuses across Analyst level at an already heavily discounted base. German offices doing vast majority of the deals, solid small cap deal flow though.
Agree with the comp part. I had an AN1 contract which I declined for this very reason (especially post-tax in Europe). You also need to factor in the hours which are also far from great making the salary even more trash
