Got a phone interview today or tomorrow.
Same here, got it on Monday. You know what its going to be like?? seems very short 15-20 minutes
Interviewer said either Saturday or Sunday night. I'm still waiting - its just midnight. Ought I wait til the wee hours?

I havn't submitted my application later cuz i'm waiting for my new gpa for the past semester... i thought GS HK SA application deadline is on feb 7 2010?
All HK BB SA applications were due a month ago mate. first rounds are happening now, and some said UBS final round invites are out too.

got interview scheduled this week.. but i got it for GSAM, not IBD

I guess there are three rounds. Just finished my interview, all mandarin, no English at all, no technical questions at all. Very weird! Anyone has a thought when we can hear back for the next step?

two interviews? I only be contatcted by one banker.
Mine was all English cos it seems my interviewer doesn't know Mandarin. Mostly fit, some technical stuff just to gauge how much/little I knew.

had 2nd round last week with 2 GS associates. Not sure how I did, as I think I screwed up on one technical question

Had first two rounds on the phone. Superday was yesterday at new GS building (OMFG!!! The place is sick!) There is another round via teleconference with the various heads of each desk.
My superday:
98% fit questions: Why HK, have you ever been there, are you ok being away from family, do you want to live in HK for at least 5 years.
2% psuedo-technical: only non-fit questions were not really "technical" either... what do you think of the market in the next year and what are some companies in the region that you like. Those were the only two I got.
100% english (even though I speak basic level mandarin.... they probably just didn't want to bother since i'm not fluent).
