No, you'll get auto-rejected for the wrong grad date and HR/teams will never even see your resume. They are not looking for someone to intern for two summers or just intern and not come back full time - you need to wait your turn. Look for small companies that are more flexible for earlier internships
Are there any that aren’t extremely small boutiques that recruit for sophomore summer? I know T Rowe had one but nothing else to my knowledge
Are you finishing up sophomore year right now being class of '27? Sophomore apps for next summer (class of '28) are opening up right now, if you're looking for something this summer you are way too late
Most of the big banks have soph programs of some type but they're extraordinarily competitive. Apply to everything you see/qualify for but I would focus on small local firms, that's the most likely path and one you need to dedicate time to network to get into
