Applying for AM in Asia. Study Asia or U.S. market or both??
**I realize that this is the IB forum but I didn't get much of a response from the AM forum so I'm posting this here in hopes that someone could help me out!
I'm a senior applying for FT Asset Management positions at BBs in Asia. I'm originally from Asia but I'm going to school in the U.S.
I understand that stock pitches and a good understanding of the markets are crucial for AM interviews. I also realize that my preparation time at this point is quite limited. So I was wondering if anyone knows in this case if I should focus on Asia stocks, or will I be OK pitching mainly U.S. stocks, or do I need to know a good deal about both markets?
Thanks!
