Applying to Goldman Sachs as a freshman
So a friend of mine is taking Goldman's use of the word "usually" quite liberally since on their website they indicate the SA analyst stint is "usually undertaken in the second or third year of study." How do you think this would fare with HR and recruiters at Goldman? Kind of curious.
I applied to a BB similar to GS as freshman and got it- they couldnt care less, makes you look like a savage if you get it and your whole team will be dumbfounded how you managed to get in (if you do pass interviews)

haha no! non target actually, basically got lucky bc resume was pulled from online portal by one of the only alumns at the bank. People interviewing me were literally like how are you even here
