Applying to Summer Analyst Program + going abroad in the Spring

What happens? I know recruitment starts in January but what happens if you're in the UK by the time they start e-mailing you or calling you?

I heard some firms like Goldman have a program where they interview kids in November for kids going abroad next year but I'm not so sure.

Can anyone please help clarify how this works for someone going abroad?

Sure. I'm a junior attending a non-target in the Mid-Atlantic and recently had an internship over the summer with a small PE firm and I have a internship right now at Siebert Brandford Shrank.

I am hoping to get into IBD by getting a SA slot since I've been networking with some bankers and many of them told me firms hire 80-90% of their incoming analyst class from their interns and getting hired by a regular FT-process is extremely hard.

I'm going abroad in January because the program is allows us to intern in London and study at King's College. It's meant for business majors and I thought it would be a good idea and I also got a study abroad grant with it. I already paid the deposit and registered at King's so It's too late to drop out.

Any advice and help?
