So I didn’t get a return offer from the bank/coverage group that I interned at, so I reapplied for FT and I got selected for a first round interview. Would it be wise to choose the coverage group that I interned in or choose a different group? Feedback/Advice would be great.

Thing is, I can actually choose the same group that I interned at to interview in. I’m just wondering if that would be appropriate to or choose a different group?
I don't think you should do that. If they didn't want you to return after your internship, why would they hire through the lateral process???
