I love seamless and their business model (sit and do nothing and watch the cash roll in) and was very surprised to learn that they are owned by Aramark, a food service company, not owned privately or by an internet co.
Could not find what % of the company they sold for the $50m, however did find a figure that ball parked their revenue at $400m. I doubt however that they were valued at an FB-like 50x rev!
interesting how GS and JPM were advising aramark..for a 50mm stake...
I hope this doesn't fuck with my $25/night. Crushed some serious Lemongrass Thai earlier. With something like 400 places that deliver to Midtown I can fatten myself up for over a year without ordering from the same place twice...
What are your favorite places to order from on Seamless Web? I never have time to read the reviews but so far I haven't gone wrong ordering from places with a high rating.
I prefer Energy Kitchen. Also, Fuel Grill just opened up but I've yet to try it. Looks pretty good, though.

My alma mater used Aramark services. The food was O.K. but WAY overpriced.
