Archegos and the future of Credit Suisse
What do you think is the future of Credit Suisse's investment bank after Archegos and other hits like Greensill? Today's leadership shakeup hints at a larger transition at the bank over the next few years.
Says a lot CS was the most generous bank in terms of junior bonuses and also the most generous in eating that fat loss from big daddy Hwang. You’d think the rest of the industry could at least fork over some dough while having record breaking years. Anyway nothing will change at the junior level. Also it’s not an IBD related event this is a risk / compliance / lending related event.
Maybe they'll cut down a little on those shitty SPAC and PIPE deals?
